Within days of its founding in 2021, the Whistleblower Protection Project processed a number of impactful FOIA requests that provided telling insights into the now well-known coverup of the laboratory origins of the SARS-Cov-2 virus (COVID-19) that killed over 7 million people worldwide, and 1.1 million in the United States. At WHIPP we employed a deft and artful combination of whistleblowers, investigators, researchers, legal professionals, and subject matter experts to craft targeted FOIA requests that drove to the heart of one of the most widely lethal coverups in human history. And we got answers that were as revealing in what they disclosed as in what they clumsily concealed.
